Excellent

Once again- Kristin Hannah’s character development and story are top notch. I enjoyed the reunion of the sisters, new found love, and the unconventional way a family is created. Alice’s story is amazing, and the transformation she discovered/realized with the help of Dr. Julia. Fantastic all around!

A very real and beautiful book. I read it aloud to my wife Lisa and we rarely put it down. So well written we didn’t know whether to laugh or cry so we often did both.

I love this author’s books, but found myself skipping over lots of pages in this one. I really liked the ending, but some of the events were hard to imagine except in science fiction. The writing is so beautiful though, I felt I was in the forest myself. The characters were so relatable- from Ellie being unable to see the best husband in her own backyard to Max recovering from unspeakable grief. Great book!

Was immediately sucked into this book. Lots of emotions. Easy read but not so much that I lacked imagination with it. I would highly recommend.

This was a great book. I was so engrossed with it that I picked it up every time I got a spare moment. I felt a satisfaction reading it that only a really good book can give. It was easy to get caught up in the scenery and the characters with the rich description that the author gave.

Kristin Hannah is my favorite author. This book, in a way or another, is similar to true colors. True colors remains my favorite book by Kristin Hannah. Magic hour, like true colors, addresses hour broken justice system. It addresses wrongful convictions. I love it! I got to appreciate the characters of both Julia and Ellie, particularly Elli. Kristen has done a magnificent job developing Alice’s character. Very good Read -i recommend it!

It's been a long time since I have read any of her books. I go through spurts. When I got hooked on kristen Hannah's books I read four in a row. Finally picked up this one and could not put it down. Reminded me of the four previous books of hers I had read. It takes a lot for me to not be able to put a book down. She does it to me every time. Just now getting ready to purchase
